Creed - The World’s 1st UK Garage MC also known as The Godfather.

MC Creed started in 1989 and established himself as an underground icon, helping to make Garage MC acceptable. Creed managed to break down the barriers during the early days and made it normal for there to be MCs in House and Garage events, this is why he is called The Godfather. Working with artists such as Tuff Jam, The Dreem Team to name a few, a sound was created which grew to be called UKG.

In the nineties Creed became everyone’s resident MC, helping to build many of the scenes biggest and best club nights such  as TWICE AS NICE, SUN CITY, LA COSA NOSTRA, AND PURE SILK. Next Creed joined forces with DJ Pied Piper, Unknown MC , PSG and Valerie M and became Da Click achieving 2 chart hits with ‘Good Rhymes’ and ‘We are the Click’, becoming the first UKG MC Group to gain chart success.

Creed became the first winner of ‘The Best MC’  at the UGA Awards in 1998 and went on to record ‘Liferide’ with Rose Windross (Soul II Soul) produced by Legendary producers Norris Da boss and Grant Nelson.

Many underground tracks later including the Iconic VOCAL FUSION CD Trilogy and Creed had cemented his place in the UK music scene. The hospital was founded on 14 February 1852 as the Hospital for Sick Children, making it the first hospital providing in-patient beds specifically for children in the English speaking world. Despite opening with just 10 beds, it grew into the world's leading children's hospital through the patronage of Queen  Victoria, counting Charles Dickens as one of its first fundraisers.

The hospital has relied on charitable support since it first opened. One of the main sources for this support is Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC). Whilst the NHS meets the day to day running costs of the hospital, the fundraising income allows Great Ormond Street Hospital to remain at the forefront of child healthcare.[ GOSHCC is now trying to raise over £170 million to complete the next phase of redevelopment, as well as provide substantially more fundraising directly for research. The charity also purchases up-to-date equipment, and provides accommodation for families and staff.[The charity's teardrop logo was designed for the Wishing Well Appeal in 1987 by the firm Collett Dickenson Pearce.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity is one of the four charities leading the national  ‘Jeans for Genes’  campaign where everyone across the UK wears their jeans and makes a donation to help children affected by genetic disorders. All Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity's proceeds go to its research partner, the UCL Institute of Child Health.

On 6 August 2009, Arsenal Football Club confirmed that Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSH CC) was to be their 'Charity Of The Season' for the 2009-10 season. They set a fundraising target of £500,000, having raised £532,816 for ‘Teenage Cancer Trust’ in the previous season. Carrying out research is the best way to fight children’s illnesses and has been one of GOSHCC 's  three main ambitions ever since Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) opened in 1852.
They have come a long way since then and with their dedicated research partner the UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH), it is  now  the largest paediatric centre in Europe dedicated to both clinical and basic scientific research.

They are committed to carrying out pioneering research, to find treatments and cures for some of the most complex illnesses, for the benefit of children  in the UK and worldwide. In 2007 they were awarded National Institute for Health Research Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) status.  This was in recognition of the quality and importance of the research conducted within the organisation. They are the only paediatric BRC in the UK.
